We are happy to announce that our PortX Partner Manager (B2B/EDI) and Payment Manager (payment channel integration with networks like ACH, Fedwire, and Zelle) tools now support Mule Runtime version 4. Mule 4 is the latest version of the Anypoint Platform’s runtime engine from MuleSoft. We have worked alongside MuleSoft for several years now, and our PortX Platform and its routing engine component were originally developed to work seamlessly with Mule ESB

The PortX Routing Engine is a crucial component in the PortX Platform. The execution of PortX transactions and endpoints takes place on the routing engine application. This allows the user to implement intricate integration patterns such as content-based routing, multicast, dynamic endpoints, and tracking replay without writing an application for each integration configured on PortX.

Mule 4 introduced some significant improvements over Mule 3 that enhanced data transformation and handling, boosted performance with batch processing, introduced drag and drop functionality for connectors, and more. By supporting Mule 4, we are thrilled to offer these performance improvements, increased reliability, and continued support to PortX customers and Mule ESB users looking for powerful tools that use configuration, not code, for B2B/EDI integration and payment management. We call this “coding-optional” design.

If you would like to learn more about PortX and how it can expand the possibilities with Mule ESB, check out Partner Manager, Payment Manager, or contact our team today.
