We are excited to announce that Mountain State Software Solutions (MS3) has joined ModusBox as curators of the DataSonnet project. DataSonnet is an open source data transformation and mapping platform built to seamlessly integrate with our PortX Integration Platform or other leading open source integration tools like Apache Camel, WSO2, and others.

With MS3 and ModusBox working together, DataSonnet will now be maintained in its own GitHub organization with independent governance. This is an exciting step forward for the project. The DataSonnet community has been steadily growing. Now, with our friends from MS3 joining the team and contributing significant improvements to the code base, we’re thrilled that DataSonnet version 2.0 is released.

Here are some of the highlights of the release:
  • More sophisticated Java APIs for performing DataSonnet transformations
  • A considerable number of new DataSonnet functions for transformation authors to accomplish any transformation task
  • Significantly extended XML support
  • Read more about the v2 release on GitHub

DataSonnet is a business-friendly data transformation solution with powerful capabilities. Version 2 adds functionality that makes it even easier for programmers of any platform or project to add pluggable data transformation.

We are eager to see the DataSonnet community continue to grow by welcoming new members, contributions, and partners. If you would like to learn more about DataSonnet or join the project, visit DataSonnet.com.
