On Tuesday, July 18th, ModusBox was pleased to both attend and sponsor the MuleSoft Summit in our home city of Seattle.
MuleSoft is holding Summits across the globe throughout 2017, providing CIOs, IT leaders, architects, and developers an opportunity to learn more about how integration strategies and MuleSoft’s platform can help organizations achieve digital transformation.
The event brings together MuleSoft experts and current customers to help attendees get a clearer picture of how the platform can help them reach their business goals.
Guest speakers, including Carole McCluskey from TrueBlue, provided attendees with the opportunity to gain greater insight into the challenges other CIOs and IT leaders face in the current digital landscape.
Additionally, customer insights were provided throughout the day by IT leaders with real-world experience using MuleSoft.
Ben Johnson discussed the challenges of trying to get a legacy system like JD Edwards to provide near real-time communication to warehouse automation systems. Using Laser Guided Vehicles (robots!), Ben’s team was able to help his organization realize significant savings using ModusBox’s JD Edwards connector for MuleSoft.
The other customer spotlight of the day featured Tony del Fierro from Sound Credit Union. Tony’s presentation discussed how changing to meet the needs of credit union members and the business extends beyond transformation of the technical architecture. Changes in corporate culture go hand in hand with the digital projects Tony’s team is implementing with help from ModusBox.
As the sole sponsor of the Seattle Summit, ModusBox was available to answer attendee questions and, as we’re known for, hand out cool swag. This time we brought with beautiful double-walled glasses as our gift to those at the conference that stopped by our table.
